Customization: Stella

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I have been pretty busy & couldn't concentrate on updating :(
On a brighter note, I have gotten some newly imported beads that I have yet to find time to rummage through, but that will have to wait till I find a proper storage box, running out of space to store them! (I guess that's the problem every beader encounters!)

Anyway, I'll be working on some new pieces this weekend and hopefully will be able to post them up soon!

Stella has gone through some tough times and would like a bracelet to mark her new journey in life.
She wanted something that reminds her of her new life so I chose 2 dove charms that signify freedom & the white chrysanthemum is a refreshing change to her past.
Stella also mentioned to go along the line of elegance and purple colour and both of us came up with this design :)

More sweetheart necklaces, I simply can't get enough of them!
I stuck a piece of carnation flower onto the brass pendant, which features plenty of hearts cut out finely, couldn't resist getting a couple of these pendants when I first saw it!
To add to the chic factor, I picked Swarovski bicones in 3 colors: Fuchsia, Rose Pink & Pink Opal dangling sweetly on top.
Definitely a piece for the girly girl at heart!

Royalty

Purple always give a sense of royalty & elegance, especially darker shades. I made this with just that idea in mind, combining rich purple with a hint of midnight blue & matte gray.
I added a lovely rose cabochon in the center too to avoid being too dull, accompanied by brass filigrees hung together with butterfly charms.
Lastly, there are a couple of white opal Swarovski crystals for that extra kick!

I found these matte glass pearls one day & quickly grabbed whatever colors that were available, I like that matte coats give off a hint of elegance.
A combination of dark gray & fandango (best describes the pink shade according to Wikipedia, it's something like darker fuchsia), I paired it with an all white flower cabochon, creating a Victorian feel to it :)
