14k: Gatsby

Gatsby... brings to mind rich, gold, flamboyant, glitz & glam.

This piece attempts to capture all these with the rich ruby lampwork glass beads, cotton shell pearls, glass crystals in champagne and maroon, and an alabaster white oval with tiny facets.

But these alone wouldn't do, aye? Gatsby gotta be eye-catching and a little over-the-top too ;) Hence I adorned it with a dome bead connected to gold chain tassels.

Lots of details going on in a bracelet, including the gold accents in between the beads, perfect for those who like bling bling that stands out.

With the white squares mimicking ice cubes in the sea of icy blues, I reckon naming this 'Icicles' is an apt choice.

Nothing but good quality glass crystals are used in this piece, which means that the beads are sparkly at all angles.

I love pastels, but as soothing as pastels are, it sometimes can be a bit boring and bland.

Thus, to avoid this pitfall, I thought to play it up with various faceted style beads. These facets 'sharpen' the overall look of the bracelet, which I think is a nice contrast to the gentle colours.   

Included also are Swarovski crystals in greenish blue and 3 types of purple to complete the job.

14k bracelet: Limonene

When I was on the lookout for new beads, the first thing that caught my eye was strawberry shaped beads.

It resembles an upside-down teardrop, but plumper and rounder, and therefore cuter? :)

In this bracelet, I placed a green one right in the middle, surrounded by butterflies, melons, cubes and even fresh water pearls. 

4 sets of flower and clear teardrops dangle in between.

Geometric Necklaces

 Hey there!

Jumping onto the geometric shapes bandwagon, here are two necklaces encompassing everything I'm loving right now- suede, gold metals and even grungy chains!

 I find geometric pendants are statement pieces by itself, hence the minimalist approach to the necklace design. 

Instead of suede cords in the form of tassels, I finally found these that are shaped into a flower.

Which is so much cuter in my opinion ;)
