Birdcages are so cool, righttt?
Or maybe anything bird-related, can't get my eyes of them when they come as jewellery components ;)

Olive

Brass necklace made with a combo of green beads.
I have a couple of favourites here, but the longish matte green bead (hanging the lowest) gotta be the most special piece, I never knew I had it until I dug through the large mix of beads thoroughly!
And yes, this bead inspired me to create the entire necklace! =)

This piece features triple especially cute bows in a very light shade of pearl blue as center piece, and the shade of blue gets darker as it gets closer to the toggle, with black as the final bead :)
I love mixing sapphire blue with black by the way, it somehow creates a cool mysterious feel ;)

Fly Birdie Fly!

Only as I'm writing this now did I realize that most of the beads used here are imported.
Except for the sparrow link on the chain which I acquired just last week, most were sitting snugly in my boxes for some time now. I still remember the excitement when I first gotten the butterfly (in the center), yet for some reason I kept it in the back compartment of my box, so it's been poorly neglected up till now :)

Looking at this piece plays this scene over and over again in my head:
Sipping english tea at a faraway cottage with birds chirping around, enjoying the serenity & tranquility of the surroundings.... :)
I love the flower cut-out on the pendant, plated white paired with pastel coloured beads.

Adding to the chunkiness factor are the large cream textured beads, with matte pink & silver beads filling up the gap between them.
